So, I won my first ever round of triple-Theros draft on Magic Online in three games. I’m sure my opponent thought I was a total idiot during game one. My problem was that I jumped right into MTGO without first learning how to use the program. So, trying to learn while playing my first game, I did things like discard a land at the end of my third turn instead of playing the land, never attacking because I couldn’t figure out how, skipping an entire turn because I didn’t realize it was my turn, killing my own guy with a Sip of Hemlock. Yeah, it was bad.
But by game two, I had a decent handle on how it works. I proceeded to win the next two games pretty handily. I can only imagine how that made my opponent feel.
FYI: my MTGO screenname is DeadLogic. If you see me on there, say hi. :-)
